Location: Near Felix Eboue School, Ardep Djoumal neighborhood, and near Toumai Palace Hotel in N’Djamena, Chad.
Event: Stone throwing at vehicles and use of tear gas by government security forces to disperse demonstrators
Diplomatic personnel at the U.S. Embassy are not permitted to drive personal vehicles today or Tuesday morning. Movements by U.S. Government personnel are restricted between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Tuesday and they are advised to avoid areas where protestors gather.
