Chadian Women are Leaders in Entrepreneurship!
Promoting entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment in Chad, the U.S. Embassy welcomed 40 aspiring entrepreneurs and journalists for a conference on June 13. The speakers, Mme. Mariam Denendiguim and Mme. Liliane Guemdje, who traveled to the U.S. as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program, are now applying what they learned here in Chad. They offered to share their knowledge and expertise, including strategies and resources for small business success, with Chad’s future business leaders! Chargé d’Affaires Richard Bell welcomed the guests and congratulated the speakers on their participation in the IVLP.
