Chargé Bell Congratulates English Access Graduates

Chargé d’Affaires Richard Bell congratulated 110 English Access Microscholarship Program graduates on November 15, telling them that learning English is a key that will help open doors in the future. Chargé Bell was speaking at the graduation ceremony for students from N’Djamena’s Centre d’Apprentissage de Langues. In addition to receiving certificates, the students demonstrated their English skills through expository presentations, songs, poems, and skits. The U.S. Embassy-funded English Access Microscholarship Program provides a foundation of English language skills to bright, economically disadvantaged students, primarily aged 13 to 20.
