Chargé d’Affaires visits the Faculty of Sciences
Vice Dean of Ndjamena University’s Faculty of Precise and Applied Sciences Dr. Adam Sakine Mahamat Nour (left), a chemist, describes for Chargé d’Affaires Richard Bell (second from left) the medicinal and nutritional properties of a plant on which Dr. Sakine has published research. Boscia Senegalensis, a traditional food plant in Africa, is a fruit that has potential to improve nutrition and boost food security. The Faculty’s arboretum was originally established with funding from the U.S. Government.
