Demonstration Alert – March in N’Djamena, Chad (July 28, 2021)
Location: N’Djamena, Chad
Event: The Chadian Ministry of Public Security and Immigration approved a march to take place in N’Djamena on Thursday, July 29, 2021, starting at 6:00 a.m. The march is expected to begin at Rond-Point Hamama and end at the Palais du 15 Janvier.
Normal traffic may be disrupted during the march.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid areas where demonstrations are taking place.
- Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings and demonstrations
- Avoid areas where gunfire is taking place.
- Monitor local media for updates.
- Keep a low profile.
