Thank you to the High Council for Islamic Affairs for the warm welcome given to Chargé d’Affaires Jessica Davis Ba. Chargé Davis Ba and President Sheikh Dr. Mahamat Khatir Issa spoke about the strong history of collaboration between the Embassy and the High Council to promote social cohesion, mutual understanding, and English-language learning. Recent visits by U.S. speakers Zainab al-Suwaij, co-founder of the American Islamic Congress, and English Language Specialist Lynn Zimmerman, have helped build capacity and strengthen ties with the High Council and diverse communities across Chad. We look forward to continued partnership and deepening our ties with the Council to advance our shared goals.
