On September 19, 2014 at Stuttgart (Germany), the Signing of the Acquisition and Cross Servicing Agreement (ACSA) took place between the Chadian and US government. The signing is historic as it solidifies Chadian and US commitment for mutual defense issues. The previous one was only good for 10 years while this one is indefinite. The Chadian government was represented by Brigadier Général Marc Ndoubayo, Chef de l’Etat-major Ministère de la Défense and Colonel Bakhit Nouki Charfadine, Directeur, Coopération Militaire. On the US side, it was signed by Air Force Brigadier General James Vechery, Director for Logistics, AFRICOM. It was attended by Marine Staff Sergeant Alex Jones, OSC N’Djamena Operations Non-commissioned Officer.
