Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)

U.S. citizens in Chad are strongly encouraged to enroll in STEP to obtain information on travel and security in Chad.  Citizens may register online or at the U.S. Embassy.  Registration information provided at that website is immediately available to the Embassy and will be protected under the Privacy Act of 1974.  You may also register in person with the Consular section, at which time you will be given additional information on the American Liaison Network system.
