U.S. Delegation visits Chad to discuss Presidential Proclamation
Representatives of the Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security met with representatives of the Government of Chad in N’Djamena on December 11-12 to discuss ongoing efforts to improve information sharing and enhance identity management practices noted in Presidential Proclamation 9645. These collaborative meetings were a clear demonstration of the willingness of the Chadian government to work with the United States to address these issues. The United States remains committed to working with Chad to resolve issues identified by the Presidential Proclamation and raise security standards for vetting international travelers.
