The United States Embassy N’Djamena and the Chadian Air Force hosted a socially distanced ceremony at Adji Kossei Airbase on November 19th 2020 to reinforce the bilateral security relationship with defense articles and other resources to enable Chad in its mission to advance security and counter terrorism. The United States donated 22 Land Cruisers and additional equipment to support medical training, airfield security, and counter terrorism operations. The defense articles are provided by the United States Department of State and facilitated by the U.S. Embassy N’Djamena Office of Security Cooperation in support of Chad via the Trans-Sahara Counterterrorism Partnership.
