On December 5 and 6, 2013, the U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Section in collaboration with the Don Bosco Center and the American Corner organized a series of film screening on HIV/AID in commemoration of World AIDS Day.
The events attracted a large number of young students from high schools and universities. The film shows sparked lively discussions about the HIV/AIDS transmission modes, prevention, treatment, as well as the importance of moral support to infected individuals.
The Embassy’s Consular, Mr. Lewis Carroll and the Economic/Commercial Officer, Ann Marie Warmenhoven, attending the program and responded to numerous questions about the films and about HIV/AIDS in general from participants.
